Aulanko National Landscape
The first National Urban Park in Finland
Join us for a peaceful, guided walk (about 3 km) in Aulanko nature reserve. You can experience one of the breathtaking national landscapes from Aulanko hill that inspired the famous Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. During summertime we can climb up to a 33 meter high observation tower. From the base of the tower we walk down 322 stairs to the Bear Cave. From there we continue walking through the forest which is rich with diverse vegetation. The average age of the trees are over 100 years. We end our walk to a small forest pond.
